Visual designer who builds clarity, not just noise.
I help companies turn complexity into visual clarity — through web design, brand systems, and graphic work that earns trust from the first look. 7+ years designing for real business outcomes.
Selected work
Web design · Enterprise services
Alitek
Alitek helps Fortune 1000 companies align information, processes, and platforms — but their digital presence wasn't reflecting the sophistication of their work.
The problem
Their website wasn't generating enough traffic or leads. For a company serving Fortune 1000 clients, their digital presence wasn't keeping them competitive.
The goal
Design a site that quickly reassures skeptical enterprise leaders that Alitek understands their problem, has solved it before, and is safe to engage with.
The direction
Enterprise look with a human approach — composed, modern, and collaborative. A presence that feels as capable as the service behind it.
Web design · Nonprofit
National Fatherhood Initiative
NFI provides resources and programs to strengthen families by supporting fathers — but their website made it hard for users to understand who they were and what they offered.
The problem
Users weren't engaging with the content and struggled to navigate the site. The outdated design was creating friction between fathers and the resources they needed.
The goal
Help users quickly understand who NFI is, what they do, and the programs they offer — reducing friction and increasing engagement with their content.
The direction
Friendly and inviting, with fathers as the main protagonists. A website that feels like a welcoming resource, not an institutional wall of text.
Web design · Brand identity · SaaS
eImmigration
eImmigration started as a sub-product of Cerenade. As it grew its own user base, it needed to become its own brand — with a new identity, new website, and a clear market position.
The problem
The sub-product was gaining traction but lacked its own brand presence. Without a distinct identity, it couldn't effectively attract or retain its own users.
The goal
Redirect existing users and bring in new ones by building a brand that could stand on its own — distinct from Cerenade, but equally credible.
The direction
Approachable and modern, but reliable. A brand that feels built for legal professionals who want software that doesn't feel like enterprise software.
Web design · Brand refresh · Recruiting
HubSearch
HubSearch helps HubSpot customers hire elite consultants and full-time team members in weeks — but their website no longer matched who they were or who they were talking to.
The problem
The existing site felt outdated and bold in the wrong way. As the HubSpot recruiting space was getting more crowded, HubSearch needed to stand out with a clearer, warmer voice.
The goal
Become the clear destination for HubSpot customers hiring HubSpot talent — differentiated not just by expertise, but by tone and approachability.
The direction
Casual expert: warm, approachable, genuinely invested in client success. Softer colors, refined typography, and a refreshed logo to match the new direction.
Web design · Cybersecurity · SaaS
ShadowHQ
ShadowHQ is a cyber crisis management platform built for CISOs. Their brand wasn't broken — but it was starting to feel dated, and the website wasn't converting visitors into demo bookings.
The problem
The website wasn't driving users to book a demo. Visitors weren't getting excited about the product or understanding its value quickly enough to take action.
The goal
Make the website feel reliable and trustworthy. Show the capabilities of the product without giving too much away — and make booking a demo feel like the obvious next step.
The direction
Fresh and light, approachable and friendly. Easy to navigate, oriented for a SaaS user, with dynamic content that shows product functionality in action.

Hawkeye — Booth Concept & Visual System
Hawkeye is a single-use digital ureteroscope in pre-clearance status. With no brand guidelines and strict regulatory constraints, they needed a booth concept for a urology trade show that educated without overpromising.
The challenge
Pre-clearance status meant no absolute claims, no hype language — every element had to feel clinically credible while still standing out on a trade show floor.
What I did
Developed a visual moodboard and booth concept for a 10x10 space. Proposed an accent color to complement their existing palette and created a layout balancing education with intrigue.
The result
A booth concept built around "Defined by Clarity. Reliable by Design." — a system designed to be reusable across events and scalable as the brand matures.
Editorial Design · E-commerce · Guide
Happy Birthday Guide
A client needed a polished, print-ready guide showing users how to design and deploy birthday email campaigns — with real brand examples and actionable steps throughout.
The challenge
Turn dense marketing content into something visually engaging that felt like a resource worth keeping, not just another PDF to close.
What I did
Designed a multi-page editorial layout with a playful, on-brand aesthetic — balancing real client examples, data visualizations, and instructional content across a cohesive system.
The result
A complete guide used as a lead magnet and educational resource, reinforcing the client's platform expertise through design quality alone.
Digital Graphics · Event · HubSpot
AI Sprint — Event Thumbnail
A HubSpot HUG portal event session needed a thumbnail announcing a 40-minute AI sprint — on-brand, visually allusive to AI tools, and clear enough to drive registrations inside a crowded portal.
The challenge
Communicate a complex AI workflow concept in a single thumbnail while staying on brand and standing out in a portal full of competing events.
What I did
Designed a thumbnail compositing the speaker, AI tool logos, and a custom layered framework diagram — creating visual hierarchy that reads clearly at small sizes.
The result
A polished event graphic for the Lean Labs x HubSpot session, balancing brand credibility with the energy needed to drive clicks.
About
Hi, I'm Maria.
I'm a visual designer with 7+ years of experience helping brands go from visually inconsistent to immediately trustworthy. I think in systems — I care about why every element is there, not just how it looks.
What I do
Web design, brand systems, graphic design, and visual collateral that serve a clear purpose. I specialize in turning complex services into work people immediately understand.
How I work
Remote-first. I communicate clearly, deliver on time, and bring strategic thinking to every project — not just aesthetics.
